Crispy onion Samosa

CRISPY ONION SAMOSA

Time Taken - 50 min
Serve - 15 Samosas

Required Ingredients:-
For Samosa Dough

1. Maida or All purpose Flour - 1 cup (approx 100 grams)
2. Atta or Wheat Flour - 1/2 Cup (approx 50 grams)
3. Oil - 2 Tbsp
4. Cooking soda - pinch
5. Salt - 1 Tsp

For Filling 

1. Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
2. Pressed Rice - 2 Tbsp
3. Lemon - 1/2
4. Salt - 1 Tsp
5. Turmeric - 1/4 Tsp
6. Chilli powder - 2 Tbsp
7. Coriander powder - 1 Tbsp
8. Chat Masala - 1 Tsp
9. Jeera Powder - 1/2 Tsp
10. Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
11. Coriander leaves - Few 

Method of Preparation:-

1. First take Maida,Atta,salt and cooking soda and add oil to it.
2. Mix the oil properly with the flour
3. Slowly pour water and knead the flour into a soft chapathi dough.
4. Now Put it aside for 1/2 hour.
5. After 1/2 Hour knead it and make it into small balls.
6. Take each ball and roll it into very thin chapathi.
7. Make all chapathi's and roast them on the pan until they become light in color. Don't let them become brown.Roast all the chapathi's in the same way
8. Now take chapathi,cut the excess edges and keep the excess edges aside.
 9. Cut the chapathi into rectangular sheets.
10.Now take 2 Tbsp Maida add water and make a paste out of it.

For Filling:

1. Add all the spices,Onions,Pressed rice and mix them with hand by pressing them.
2. Now add lemon juice and coriander leaves and keep it aside for 10 min.

Making Samosa:-

1. Take each rectangular sheet fold it put the filling and close it by using maida gum as shown in the video below.
2. Now make all samosa in the same way and keep them ready.
3. Now Heat Oil sufficient to deep fry the samosa.Heat it till it is medium hot and fry the samosa till they become golden brown.
4. Our Samosa are ready to be served  with some fried green chillies.
